After a traumatic incident during his residence, the young medicine student James Hayman (Namir Smallwood) is transferred to a rural hospital for a new beginning. Noting that James is struggling and has difficulty connecting with patients, Dr. Harrison (veteran actor and screen actor Michael Potts) suggests that he take a class focused on head of header and facilitating deeper relationships with patients. James’s demons begin to reach it when consumed by the case of a young asthma patient (Sidney Flanigan, never rarely always) with mysterious symptoms. His control of reality begins to slide as his disturbing nightmares, speculations fed with anxiety and physical injuries collide with the harsh realities of the world of medicine. The director Alex Thompson brings together a strong set of veteran actors in his follow -up of San Frances, and precursor of the ghost light, in this vision of humanistic and unconventional gender.
